Since my first post yesterday, I have been sitting trying to figure out what came next, exactly, once I asked the ever-important question - “Who am I?”
Years ago, I was researching Michael Aquino, who founded the “Temple of Set.” Without getting into too much detail, my interest in researching him goes back to the history of the MK Ultra program. It was a particularly brutal day of work.
Some of you who know me well know that I love music. I am a singer, and music has been my life for my entire life. I went outside (as I often do) to sit and work through how there could be SO MUCH evil in the world. I had my earphones in as I used my throw-away work YouTube account to listen to Aquino’s interview about “The Temple of Set.” I had shut it off and was trying to get a breather. Suddenly, seemingly out of nowhere, a song began to play.
Now, let me just put this out there - until that time, I had never been one to listen to worship music. I had a pretty rocky relationship with organized religion as I was growing up, even though I was raised traditional Catholic. I sat there absolutely shocked for a moment because the most beautiful music was playing through these earphones, and I knew that not only did I never listen to this kind of music, but I also didn’t have any watch history that would’ve promoted it to me.
I quickly switched to the app and saw a woman named Tasha Cobbs performing in front of a live audience. The song was called “Overflow.” Here are some of the lyrics:
You provide the fire
I'll provide the sacrifice
You provide the Spirit
I will open up inside
You provide the fire
I'll provide the sacrifice, that's who I am
If You provide the Spirit
I will open up inside
Fill me up, God
Fill me up, God
Fill me up, God
Fill me up
Fill me up, God
Fill me up, God
Fill me up, God
Fill me up
It is a magical song. I encourage you to listen to it. I was floored. To this day, I still have this song on a playlist called “Miracle.” It was that day that I smacked myself. Why haven’t I thought of this already!?
The shock of the experience left me weeping, but the effect the music had on my mood and my outlook was something different.
I dove into sound and music as therapy. I dove into it for about a minute (in my time,) found it incredibly interesting, and then…stopped using it altogether. Chalk it up to a short attention span for things that would help me. At least that has changed.
It was only about a year and a half ago that I spent the time and really learned the power of the vibration and frequency of music and the benefits it could have for your mind, body, and soul.
There’s science behind it and many research studies to back it up.
So, I dove into the conspiratorial, the administrative, and the spiritual, and I found it works. And why wouldn’t it work!?
Our bodies are mainly made up of water. Place a glass of water on a speaker. What happens? A few months back, I played this video for the subscribers to my podcast. Please take a moment to watch it if you haven’t seen it already. You’ll thank me. It’s super cool.
I started using all sorts of different frequencies depending on my mood. I used them while trying to sleep (more on THIS journey in a future column. It’s a crazy story and a doozy.) I used them if my family was upset. I use them if I am angry to calm myself down. I used them while cooking, at get-togethers, meditating, praying, etc. Really, for the past 18 months, I have been walking around at every moment possible with my own personal “movie” soundtrack playing. Maybe we can call it “The World of Beanz.”
The results? I am much happier. I am much less stressed. It has helped my pain (I have a chronic degenerative back condition), and it has helped my spirit. I could not imagine a day when I didn’t turn to sound to round out my mental state. Here is a little history lesson for you.
If you are a “conspiracy theorist,” you’ll find it interesting that in 1953, they altered the “standard” sound frequency for all music to 440hz. There was a global agreement signed. Well, the issue is that music tuned and played at 440hz causes anxiety, increased heart rate, and a whole host of other problems. You can research it. You shall find what you need. The “original” frequency of 432hz has the opposite effect, so of COURSE, they’d change it. Why have a world full of calm, happy people, right?
The original 432hz resonates with the Schumann Resonance, or the “earth’s pulse” (my term, I think) - it just makes us feel good. But, lucky for us, multitudes of different tracks are available on the internet for us to listen to. I will share a few of my “go-to” tracks for certain situations to help you. And here is a great article about the big “CON-spiracy” that you can read for yourselves.
Another cool experiment was done. Masaru Emoto did experiments where he “subjected” water to different “energy.” For example, water flooded with loving energy and phrases was frozen, and snowflakes and structures were observed. The flakes were beautiful and symmetrical. Then, he did the same with water subjected to “angry” energy and observed water after it was frozen. The results are quite stunning.
*Note: I never thought I would be telling anyone else about this, so I didn’t keep a large repository of links and research to pull from. I am doing a lot of this from memory. This isn’t “journalism,” so you’ll need to do some of your own research or trust I am being forthright. I promise that I am.
Something else I studied quite intensely was the Solfeggio Frequencies. These different sound frequencies correspond with the Schumann Resonance and benefit spiritual and physical health. Additionally, many tracks will help move your brain into different wave states, and we can discuss that more advanced lesson in another post. I don’t want to overwhelm anyone.
So, I immersed myself in this and have never looked back. It is amazing how different my life has been while walking around listening to the “World of Beanz.” It even cracked my insomnia many times, which was a feat! Once I exhausted myself on this topic, it moved me to binaural beats and hemi-sync, and we will get into that as we move along. But I want you to try using sound daily, especially if this is brand new to you.
If it IS NOT new to you, you are probably wondering why I haven’t spoken about grounding mats, etc. All in due time, friends, all in due time. This is my second article. Baby steps.
Without further ado, here are some of my favorite soundtracks for you. Enjoy, and leave your feedback below!
This one is my FAVORITE and will move your brain to Delta, which is usually great for sleep. I have come to use this for deep concentration and prayer as well.
I play this one when I want to raise the mood a little and lighten up.
This track, in 528hz, helps me to relax. It’s a staple when I feel stressed and want some joy back.
When I am ready for prayer, I play this angelic music in 432hz. It’s beautiful; if you leave it on in the background for a while, you will feel lighter.
Put this one on while you read. You’re welcome! (The entire “Sleep Tube” channel is good. I haven’t found one I don’t like.)
And last but not least, do you need to calm down immediately?? Every single time. This one.
Experiment with these- my tastes may be different than yours. Implement this for a few days to a week, and please report the impact it has had on your well-being. I am interested in how you are doing!
Until next time!
I like this, missed this somehow in your podcast.
❤️👍🏻🇺🇸 ok am here now as well HUGZ
